Incinerator Lining Materials in Kenya | Refractory Bricks, Castables & Ceramic Blankets +254 722401175

If you’re constructing or repairing an incinerator in Kenya or the East African region, choosing the right refractory materials is essential for long-term durability, safety, and heat efficiency. At Insulation World Kenya Ltd, we supply a complete range of high-temperature lining materials tailored for medical, industrial, and waste incinerators.

What We Supply for Incinerator Construction:

1. Refractory Fire Bricks – 40% & 70% Alumina

We supply dense fire bricks with different alumina contents to suit various heat zones inside the incinerator.

40% Alumina Bricks:

  • Ideal for general combustion chambers

  • Good thermal insulation and strength

  • Max temperature: ~1400°C

  • Size: 230mm x 115mm x 75mm

  • Application: Mid-temperature linings, general wall construction

70% Alumina Bricks:

  • Higher alumina content for better heat resistance

  • Max temperature: ~1600°C

  • Greater resistance to slag and abrasion

  • Application: Hot zones like primary combustion chambers, ash pits

2. Maxheat K & Maxheat A – Refractory Castable Cements

Maxheat K (1600°C):

  • Used to cast incinerator floors, walls, and arches

  • High strength and excellent heat resistance

  • Easy to apply with just clean water

Maxheat A (1750°C):

  • Suitable for extremely high-heat zones

  • Ideal for ash pits and flame contact surfaces

  • Dense, durable, and highly resistant to thermal shock

Both are alumina-based, pre-mixed castables that offer superior strength and performance for incinerator lining and repair.

Important:
✔ Only mix with clean water – do not add cement, sand, or other materials.
✔ Allows precise casting of complex shapes or repairs.

3. Ceramic Fiber Blankets – 25mm & 50mm | 1260°C

Our double-needled ceramic fiber blankets provide superior insulation behind refractory bricks or castables.

Available Sizes:

  • 25mm thickness: Flexible and ideal for lining outer walls

  • 50mm thickness: Higher insulation value for heat-intensive zones

Key Features:

  • Max temperature: 1260°C

  • Density: 128kg/m³

  • Excellent thermal shock resistance

  • Lightweight and easy to install

Applications:

  • Backup insulation behind fire bricks

  • Wrapping flue pipes and chambers

  • Energy retention for fuel savings
